[twitter]Do you remember what life was like before you had kids? That time for Jen and I was very very brief. We were pregnant soon after dating, and Zacharie was born less than a year after we met.
So when it comes to “living the Child Free Life” our experience is rather limited. We’ve been lucky enough to take a few vacations without the kids, but when it comes to running our regular routine at home, we’ve always had them under foot. We don’t have relatives in town, so we just do what we do.
For the last two weeks of summer vacation, however, I tossed the boys on a plane and dropped them with their grands. We would get a week alone at home, for the first time in more than 6 years.
How did our week pretending to be a coveted child free couple go? Well, we played golf, ate dinner when we wanted, and we got bored.
