When we go skiing, we rent skis. We do it half a dozen times a year, and the kids grow so fast, it’s not worth shelling out for their own gear.
Renting a movie? Sure. Rent a book? That’s what the library is for. But rent LEGOs?
Pleygo is getting headlines for billing itself as a “Netflix for LEGOs.” You pay a monthly fee and you can order and ship and play with as many LEGO sets as you’d like.
It’s part of a growing toy rental trend trying to capitalize on the short shelf life kids have with toys as they grow up.
