Judging by how parents and kids get excited for the LEGO Mini Builds at the LEGO Store in Chinook Mall (hint: they basically camp out), you should start planning now to attend this huge event.
LEGO KidsFest will be held BMO Centre @ Stampede Park in Calgary, May 16–18, 2014!
LEGO KidsFest brings all of the creative hands-on, minds-on fun of LEGO building and experiences together in one activity- and entertainment-packed family event for children of all ages and builders of all skills and interests.
There will be a LEGO Model Museum, LEGO Club and Master Builder Academy, LEGO Activity Area, LEGO Challenge Zone, LEGO Castle, Creation Nation, and Big Brick Pile (below)

TICKETS
Tickets for LEGO KidsFest in Calgary are on sale now. Children under 2 are free, other kids and seniors are $23, adults are $25.
There are 5 sessions at LEGO KidsFest, you buy tickets for a window of access, each “session” offers the exact same exhibits and activities.
The LEGO KidsFest Calgary sessions are as follows:
Friday, May 16 4 pm – 8:30 pm
Saturday, May 17 Session I: 9 am – 1:30 pm Session II: 3 pm – 7:30 pm
Sunday, May 18 Session I: 9 am – 1:30 pm Session II: 3 pm – 7:30 pm
It’s going to be quite the LEGO year in 2014. The LEGO Movie comes out in February, and my boys already ask to watch the trailer on my phone as if it was a full fledged show.
The magic of LEGO is inescapable. And big kids cant wait too…
