#TeamJurassic LEGO Games

[twitter]It’s not just fossil hunting the boys are excited about, they get up close and personal with dinosaurs all the time. With the arrival of Jurassic World in theatres on June 12, we’ve been getting ready all year with real life dinosaur experiences, up close and personal.

The Calgary Zoo has revved up Dinosaurs Alive once again. It’s a wander through the prehistoric ages where random dinosaurs come alive to say hi.

You don’t know which ones will do it, they have motion sensors when you come around a corner and .. ROAR! A T-Rex model comes to life. It’s pretty cool.

Zacharie had his birthday party at TELUS Spark where we were excited to check out Dinosaurs in Motion. It’s an art project where dinosaur skeletons have been reconstructed with metal pieces that the kids can move.

The jaws of a T-Rex snap, while Ornithomimus danced like marionettes.

And then there’s the at-home activities to bring Jurassic World to life. There are countless LEGO Jurassic World sets (we’ve been digging into the Raptor Escape this week. Charlie is a big fan because there is a raptor named Charlie.)
