[twitter]The photo above of a boy holding his brother and dropping a cross-eyed, scared face has gone viral this week. Redditor sho3 shared it and now media like HuffPo have picked up on the kids goofy face.
The HuffPo headline blares “this is what it feels like to hold a baby for the first time.” Sure, I get that some kids will freak out when presented with a baby a few hours old, but that’s not how it was in our house.
The one thing I absolutely marvel at with Zacharie and Charlie is how much they have each other’s back. They are a dynamic duo, partners in crime, brothers above all pair. The love they have for each other is palpable and it all started when Charlie was just a few hours old.
This is Zacharie holding Charlie just after he was born. No crazy eyes. No fear. No trepidation. Just incredible love, awe, respect, and pride.
That’s what it feels like to hold a baby for the first time. Unconditional love sweeps your body in an instant.
