You've Got Mail - DadCAMPKids love mail. One of my 5 year old’s favorite things is to head to the community mailbox with me each day. While I dread the monthly bills, he is filled with hope as we open the box. He immediately clamors to see if there is an envelope with his name on it, or a key inside, as that means a package is in another compartment.

Usually the packages are paperwork for my wife or online finds, but every now and again there’s a parcel from Nana with his name on it in the cubicle.

He’ll run to the house screaming “I got mail!” and then scramble inside to rip it to shreds.

During this Screen Free Week, why not take some time to sign your kid up for an old-fashioned magazine or other subscription that can take his time away from the tube.
